    It's a straight rebate (not "competitive" or "upgrade" where you have to prove ownership of another product or previous version respectively) plus free shipping - doesn't get any better. It's good until 8-24-2011.

    Whoops. Someone at Newegg made a typo. When you click the rebate link it says:

    "Receive a $40 prepaid card by mail from Trend Symantec! Expires on 8/24/11 "

    Not sure what you mean by a typo. The rebate is a prepaid Visa card. It's the offer, not the card that expires on the 8/24 :cautious:

    Maybe he meant "Trend Symantec" is a typo. This is a good deal btw :)
