    Matousec - YES , complete ****.
    AV-Comparatives's outdated on-demand scan tests - unnecessary.
    AV-Comparatives's other tests - good.

What is actually wrong this this: http://www.av-comparatives.org

And doesn't the reality prove the test results ? Aren't Symantec and Kaspersky way better than Norman ? Aren't they better and bigger than AVG or Trustport ? Yes , they are

Well, no, it doesn't... the reality does not match any of these test cases for most users. It's just an AV testing excercise. Whether a particular AV matches your needs depends on tons of factors - not on whether it detects 99% or 95% of some crazy artificial malware collection. And I've seen Symantec, Kaspersky and AVG fail big time in certain circumstances while others have praised them as a godsent cure for everything.

Posting the direct AV-C pdf link is not allowed:p I think you should remove and post the main AV-C link:)

Even I agree with you AV-C test different Antivirus on clean install system that has nothing but only the up-to-date OS unlike ours which has tons of other applications too and OS may or may not be updated so AV performs in different manner with each user and as far as detection is concerned it can be any AVs time at any given day:)
