    You can turn on interactive hips. In smart firewall settings go to advanced settings, disable automatic program control, enable advanced events monitoring. More info :)

    Hi xxJackxx. Read your post in this tread "Norton Launches 2012 Products" at post 13 (sorry, still haven't figure out how to post link), which reads "I like that under "Settings/Real Time Protection/Remove Risks Automatically" I can select "Ask Me". Hopefully this means it will no longer delete my files without asking. If it works as I expect I may keep this full time instead of flip flopping between this and the other 2 products I was using." Though this feature is found in NIS 2012, would this setting solve the auto quarantine/removal problem in 2011 version. Sorry for posting here, just thought that it may be useful, if it solves the problem. Thanks.
