Norton Ghost software?

I created the recovery point but at the bottom of the list performane slow move an arrow to faster. Where do I put the best performane?

Wherever you like. I just leave mine at the 2/3 position which is the default. Move it to "Fast" if you want the recovery point to be created a little quicker. Slow/Fast controls the speed: nothing else.

 

It depends on how much memory you have. If you have 1GB or more, move it all the way to its fastest level and you should be fine. It's all a matter of resources.
