Very nice interface, blending more with the Aero look in Vista. It has more options it appears as well.

Thanks for posting these, Chris, but remember what I said in the other thread about the yellow/black vans :ninja: :D

There is also less yellow, lodore :D

I have one question, new realased Norton Anti-Bot will build in one of the Norton security application version, or not?
I mean, for exlample, NIS 2008 will containe same functions, that have NAB, or it will different product? or both variants at the same time?

I hope you can turn off that damn toolbar in Firefox. I hate toolbars taking up my screen space when I don't need the toolbar. I know where the icon is in the systray.

Then you couldn't see it in Vista, lol.

I can't wait for the next version. I won't beta this one as I am going to get my money's worth with '07.

Norton Anti-Bot will not build in one of the Norton security application now.
One of my test account has been closed already, but It doesn't matter, I don't want to post any picture that nothing changes.

Come on, Chris, are you at least tempted to join the "Dark Side" with the rest of us Norton users? :D

J/K, I admire your loyalty to Dr Web. Because of this they should give you the new Beta before the public release (I know, but it doesn't hurt to dream).

FYI I do have CureIt! as a backup on-demand scanner just in case :)

The beta for NIS 2008 has started almost 2 weeks ago. I've already tested.

lol, im happy where i am :)

knowing just 'some' of the things ready for V5 drweb, is enough for me to stay happy.

just one thing is a proactive defense, 'different' and better than kasperskys PDM (so they say..)

    very excited to see results.

these screenshots ARE from Norton Internet Security 2008

    Pre-Release (beta)

if you want to try the beta, just send me a PM.

if there will be no more nis 2008, then all the pictures on the first page are fake :D
They are all from NIS 2008, and not a 360 type product

Oh ja, indeed. Then I don't know where this guy bases his information on (he works for a big German PC magazine...)

Is the firewall in NIS (2007 and 2008 ) also based on Sygate or is it Symantec's own development?
