I am wondering how come Norton passed Windows XP Pro test

I always thought norton has very low detection rate and slow scaning.

    who said this?

Norton is good with worms & viruses, however still has problems with runtime packed malware like repacked trojans etc.

He said repacked Trojans. Which means, if a Trojan was originally found packed with UPX, and some guy changes the packer to PELite, Norton would not detect the PELite packed sample!
