    Hi,

I had to reformat my HD (RAID 0 setup) and do a low level install of Xp over the weekend to deal with some hard drive issues.

After this I ran a restore from the emergency boot disc.

This went fine however during the setup of the restore a warning flashed up about a partition and I flew through it not reading it.

After the succesful restore I rebooted and got a this "Non System Error Press any key to continue". I pressed the "Any Key" and the system boots. This happens now whenever I boot the system. The system is fine but how do I remove this error?

Any help would be appreciated(please break it down into idiot proof language!!)

    Thanks in advance.

Sounds like it need a Repair install of Windows. There are a few Repair options that present themselves when installing Windows, however. The one you want, which would leave your files and apps intact, is the one that appears after the EULA screen. So ignore all options for Recovery or Repair until you get the one after the EULA screen.
