NOD32 Will not complete a scan!

NOD32 on demand scanner on W98SE box will not complete a scan as of today with the latest definitions. Something drastic has changed with NOD32 scanner. It finds corruption which I find suspicious. It should have found several viruses in My Documents which it did not find! It begins a scan using "My Profile" and gets about 1/2 way through upon which I get a popup box saying that My Profile has changed and do I want to save the changes? Huh? I have made no changes to my profile and if I had why would the scanner ask me about saving the changes in the middle of doing a scan of the C drive?!

So, I click no to saving the "changes" and I immediately get another popup asking if I wish to stop the scan! I have never seen that box before. I click no and the scan continues for maybe 30 seconds and abruptly stops. It shows no report after stopping.

I do NOT have a beta on this box.

These problems must be due to the changes in the archive support module on 6/26. Last full scan using My Profile was 6/20 shortly before these changes.

Same here - night big scan doesn't finish... I lost NOD32 scanner window and in Nod32CC is last scanner log "Testing..."...
