In Outlook Express I rec'd. one e-mail, an Order Confirmation from a legit company & part of the Subject Line read "WARNING (virus check bypassed).

But, at bottom of the e-mail I have usual NOD32 notation that the AV had in fact, checked incoming mail. So, I wonder, the co. sending the mail put in the odd "bypass" msg. & this had nothing to do w/NOD32 operations?

Thanks, for info/help, on this. SG1 (Pat)

My guess is that the warning had already been added to the e-mail before you ever received it. It could have been the company's e-mail server. It could have also been your ISP's e-mail server.

Do a Google search of that warning, and you will get all sorts of hits.
