NOD32 v667 and licences.

I initially bought a licence for NOD32 3 ESS when it was released, however, I changed back to NOD32 EAV shortly after.
All versions up to the previous accepted that licence number and I could therefore download them using it. It was also mentioned in this forum that the AV version would accept ESS licences.

This new version, 667, will not accept it. When I selected the EAV download I got a popup stating that the licence was for ESS.
Has this been changed.
Do I have to contact ESET, or rather the distributor from whom I purchased it.
