    Hi,

    A WinXP SP3 machine encountered some sort of BSOD:

    PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

    STOP: 0x00000050 (0xF8DBFF94, 0x00000000, 0x805278A8, 0x00000000)

    There's a kernel dump and viewing it in windbg, I get the following:

    *** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for epfwtdir.sys
    *** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for epfwtdir.sys
    *******************************************************************************
    * *
    * Bugcheck Analysis *

    *******************************************************************************

    Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information.

    BugCheck 10000050, {f8c84f8c, 0, 8052797a, 0}

    Could not read faulting driver name
    TRIAGER: Could not open triage file : H:\sdk\Debuggers\x86\triage\modclass.ini, error 2
    Probably caused by : epfwtdir.sys ( epfwtdir+3350 )

    I've removed NOD32 from that machine and so far, there are no complaints.

    Hey imp_cc
    Just a small hint from one user to another, ..but if you still want nod32 on your system, then it might be a good idea to contact your local vendor, and get help with this issues . I can see that your local Eset vendor offer 24 hours phone support: http://www.eset.hk/support/faq (see near the bottom on the page)
    Good weekend When it Comes to You :)
