Hi. I'm still using v2.7 of NOD32 AV and I'm following all posts on this forum with great interest.

I have a question about NOD32 3.0 in combination with usenet downloadprograms (Newzbin, Newsleecher etc.). I use Newsleecher for downloading from Usenet myself and I was wondering if anyone has experienced problems with the new 3.0 version and Newsleecher.

How does one go about setting this up correctly in 3.0, without (possibly) slowing down downloads?

I'm running 3.0.560.0 on WinXP x64 and I haven't noticed any slow down in download speeds in newsleacher 3.8 and I do not have it setup any special way.

But that's not saying much because some people are noticing slowdowns.

No problems here. Using the 3.9 beta 9 on XP SP2 The beta does not use IExplorer http engine (super search). Might check NOD HTTP scan in advanced setup. Web Access Protection -> HTTP -> Web Browsers Make sure NewsLeecher is not enabled as a internet browser app and not in active mode. If NOD is using high CPU usage scanning the newsleech process, try excluding the file from active scan.
