    G'day All,
I have a strange problem with the "Excusions" for AMON.
The issue is I have a Mail Program, (Mail Marshal) which expands received mail into C:\MMExp\ after it does this, it then has rules to run that scan the attachments etc for viruses etc. The same way most Mail servers operate.
The problem is that since going form 2 to 2.5, the exclusion randomly fails.
Every now and then AMON will have prompt that a virus has been detected in the newly created file, eg C:\MMExp\eicar.com (eicar.com is a test virus for example).
I realise that the exclusion list is sensitive to long filenames, so normally I would use the 8.3 abbreviation, but in this case it's not long enough to have one.....
Plus it only seems to happen once or twice a day, yet the Mail server is scanning about 400msgs a day (most of which are viruses <sigh>).

Has anyone else had strange behaviour with AMON and it's exclusions?

    Cheers Ben.
