Seems like version 3.0.563 is available for download now at www.eset.com and this time it's actually version 3.0.563 as well. It's nice to see new versions are released fast to solve bugs, but Would be nice to know what is fixed. Is there any release notes available somewhere?

Seems they can't even get the date right. .563 was released today.....Nov 9th..............not the 6th

Seems like the event log is still filled with errors when connecting to windows shares. I guess it's not the most important bug to fix, but really annoying since it generates a lot of errors pretty fast.

They probably did a copy/paste and forgot to change the date. I guess it's not a big deal.

    lol, well let's hope not....

Should give eset some credit for fixing the bugs fast though even if they released software that many would say is a unfinished product. All software contain bugs.....it's not like eset is the first one to release a product with bugs that should have been fixed before the final release.

    General conclusions:

This this version visualizing perfectly the images and the sites already do not give mistakes because of delaying any time to loading.

Alone I thought like the previous version that it was happening the same thing is when I import in my options the GUI it is not much crazy in the term in which the window or it is completely white or does refresh sometimes but not at all of serious one I believe myself to be them what is much better than the previous one.

    +1 point :D

    The near stage comes!

I think that ESET deserves a lot of credit. This last release is working like a charm. I just had it tested with Comodo's Firewall (v3.0.11.246 RC1)....they are working very well together. Well done ESET!:thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Indeed +1 it's getting better. I have now noticed regarding email scanning, that
using outlook 07 & Vista, with the option in NOD ticked for 'Append tag messages to received and read email - it is literally doing that!

Previous downloaded messages with out this ticked were normal i.e. no notifications as requested. With this option selected it now appends the notification to the bottom of my email i.e. 'Read'

When I now download a message and view it I get 2 notifications at the bottom of the email, I presume on 'Received' and one for the 'Read' :doubt:

Hope this fixes the Outllook Express problem, because 3.0.560.0 did not work for me. I have 2.7 now and will wait for a few weeks feedback on here everyday :)

Curiosity got to me, i ghosted to a clean OS on my test PC, installed this latest 563, downloaded a torrent and opened Outlook Express to put it under a little strain , and "ping" it went and closed........... back to square one.

I bit the bullett and tried it too.

Working great so far, web images load fully now, no outlook issues.

    Couple of things though.

In email settings I had to manually check Outlook to add it as an email client. It was in the http list but unchecked by default.
Same thing with IE7. It was in the list of browsers but unchecked by default.

well .563 has worked for me flawlessly.

As far as outlook express goes, the only noticeable problem is that Outlook does hang slightly before closing.

Other than that its a nice piece of software

Smooth as silk-even lighter on my box than Avira and I did a thorough test. Eset got it right again. Congrats!

congrats. But for me it still crashes Outlook Express when its put under strain from other apps running. still nowhere near good enough so back to 2.7 which doesnt crash anything at all, or maybe RC1 which also worked 100%

Possibly try unchecking OE (if checked) under Misc. email client integration. Mail is still scanned with http.

Thanks Bunkhouse, i still have it on my test machine, will try what you suggest, for now its the only way i guess. The integration really sucks still anyway, like i said before , " in outlook express it seems like the NOD32 tasbar item would rather not be there, its like it was invited but feels awkward sitting there and wants to go." :D
