NOD32 update

I get a lot of failed updates, (update attempt failed (server connection failure) along with (Function: gethostbyname, parameters: , return value: 11001) in my event log. Is this common? Is there something I can adjust to improve this? I'm using NOD32 trial version.

 

Make sure select server is on automatic.

Choose server is automatic and I've had the same update failures using Windows firwall and Comodo. I'm wondering is others experience the same thing or if it's on my end.

 

Iv'e had that only a couple of times in the last few years and it seemed to resolve itself after a period of time. In my cae I believe the problem was ISP related.
