CONCERNING VIRUS DETECTION: I have received a response from the makers of Nod32 (eset.com): "Dear Shark007, Thank you for contacting us. Win32/Packed.Autoit.Gen potentially unwanted application is an optional detection which is not enabled by default. Every user is asked if to turn it on or off ...
Every user is allowed to run your software when they properly adjust detection
(detection of potentially unwanted applications... or they define an exception for the executable)."

Nod32 UPDATE: February 1st, 2010 - eset.com (Nod32) has contacted me regarding this issue due to the high number of user complaints they are receiving. There seems to be some probability that future releases of the Shark007 software will no longer be tagged by eset's detection process. Time will tell.

    what the hell ?

Autoit.gen is a kind of code obfuscation used by malware to evade detection. It's detected as a potentially unwanted application which means the user has to explicitly agree with detection of such applications.
