I have a client who is experiencing the following error:

Update (NOD32) "Error occurred while updating program modules (Attempting to download update for different platforms)."

Any ideas on what might be causing this and how to fix it?

    Thanks

It sounds like they are attempting to install NOD32 for XP on a 98 machine, or vice versa.

    Cheers :D

Thanks, but they are claiming that they haven't initiated anything so this must be an automatic update. They are running NOD32 2.5 on Windows XP SP2

Ask them to reboot the machine and then select "Update now" and report back.

    Cheer :D

Have them download a FRESH copy of NOD32, uninstall through Add or Remove Programs in the Windows Control Panel, then reboot, and reinstall.

    Cheers :D
