nod32 trial user. Is it normal for all these files to be locked?

I was a mcafee user, tried the KAV trial and it seemed to be unfortunately as tenacious as Mcafee about every surfing moment constantly contact it's home server. Nod32 seems to be much quieter with automatic updates turned off. However, I never got this "can't be unlocked"/"access denied" log either with mcafee or KAV. Did they just not log this or am I doing something wrong to allow Nod32 to scan all files? thx.

Hello . There is nothing wrong in these files to be locked. They are protected by the operating system or by another application . NOD32 is very informatiove software . The fact that NOD32 is unable to scan these locked files does not mean other programs could , just other AVs didn't show messages .
