Started up my laptop this morning and i get an alert from Outpost 4 saying NOD32 Kernel Service is requesting an inbound connection. I don't remember seeing this alert before, is this normal behaviour?

The remote address appears to be my routers address.

Well it doesn't need to have server privileges, so you can just block it.
I've done that since day 1 and never had a problem with it.
