    Hi

I have had Nod running [as AMON] on my NetWare server for a while - under evaluation.

I have set up the config file and get notifications - at least I did laast time I tested...
I have the mirror on this server, in a 'public' area with RF rights for all users. It seems to update WinXp workstations OK when they have a UNC path to the mirror directory. Netware nod23up2.nlm with parameters works on the NetWare server - with a mirror on this server...

I tested the http update from my download Win2003 server. When the mirror is set to locally eg C:\mirror and port 8081 and the workstations have http:IP:8081 or http:DNSName:8081 update works. But NOT with NetWare - no surprise there!. So I have reverted to the directory method above.

So now I have to extend the eval to the other servers, including Win2003, NetWare, Suse Linux...

Q1. Am I correct in assuming that unc to the mirror will work for other NetWare servers? ie the mirror is not local on that server.

Q2. What happens with GroupWise? All GW files are encrypted so with other AV products I used to exclude a scan of these directories.
    - I do not see a scan exclusion for use with Nod o_O
    - Can I prevent scanning of the GW encrypted files?
    - What about with a Nod32.nlm scan? I guess it is a matter of defining directories to scan! So GW is not included...?

Q3. I have not got to the setup on a Linux box yet. Is it similar in function to on NetWare??

    Thanks
    John
