    Hi Kripoe, welcome to Wilders.

Are you using the Trial version?

The latest update will come down over the next 24 hours or so, it is not an important update, it is simply a catch up on "less important samples" as quoted by Marcos.

    Cheers :D

Kripoe, just keep pressing Update now several times and you will get the update. Marcos stated there are new update servers to be launched and anwyway this was a big update and servers were a little bit overloaded.
Anyway, I think today you can update without problems. ;)

What do you mean exactly. Does this mean that we now got these 5000 signatures for different "less-important" threats but if we reinstall NOD32 later or future NOD32 clients won't get definitions for these less-important viruses and thus NOD32s will no longer contain update for these samples/will no longer detect them ? ? ? <confused>

maybe he was reffering to the fact that in 24 hours you will be able to download it without problems....or, there is another big update to be released soon. :D :D

I really hope so . For me there is no very important and less important malware . It is malicious software . Imagine if they remove the detection for these just added and future updates no longer contain it (reinstalling the program , future NOD32 users , etc)

Anyway , an answer from a Mod would be ok to confirm what exactly BS wanted to say ;) :)

    That's right :thumb:
I've seen many viruses caught after this update (which were undetected before) and I was happy for that. :)
As Marcos stated ESET doesn't remove signatures once they have been added. ;)
