I was thinking it's Nod32 v3 bugging my browsing with Opera 9.50.9656 until i turned Opera's history search off. http://my.opera.com/community/forums/topic.dml?id=203529 Now everything is back to normal. I'm so glad.
And Nod3 should still beta too.....! Opera are serious and release product with a lot less bug than the last eset release....!!
I had trouble using Opera 9.24 with ESS. Turns out it was due to corrupted Winsock settings - things are now running smoothly. I think it's a bit unfair to imply Eset's quality control is noticeably inferior to Opera's. I love Opera and have been using it for a long time, but have encountered a fair few glitches with various versions - when I first used Opera 9.0 several of my favourite websites simply would not work properly with it. Over the years I've had more problems with Opera than NOD32 (& ESS).
