How long can a NOD32 key remain unactivated?

If by NOD32 key you mean License key, afaik that is activated by the day it is generated with the newly bought license.

    Hello Ibrad,
timid is correct, as soon as the username and password are created the license is active and running. I hope this answers your question.

    Thank you,
    Richard

Thanks, I wanted to keep the key I won in the contest till I need it. I was worried when I read one post saying that after so long of not being used ESET can close down the unused key so I wanted to double check on that :D

    Hello Ibrad,

The serial that you received in the giveaway has no expiration, you can wait to activate it when you need it. Once it is activated and you receive a username and password, your license time will begin.

    Thank you,
    Richard

You would have to if you purchased one! I had to when I purchased mine! So what is the big deal? You should enjoy your freebie ;)

    Hello,

The underlying system providing the free software to the awardees is also used for regular orders and is designed to collect a billing/shipping address.

    Regards,
