How long can a NOD32 key remain unactivated?

 

If by NOD32 key you mean License key, afaik that is activated by the day it is generated with the newly bought license.

 

Yeah I was talking about a license key.

Thanks, I wanted to keep the key I won in the contest till I need it. I was worried when I read one post saying that after so long of not being used ESET can close down the unused key so I wanted to double check on that

The serial that you received in the giveaway has no expiration, you can wait to activate it when you need it. Once it is activated and you receive a username and password, your license time will begin.

ive got a question about the license. why on earth do we need to enter in our address, ZIP, AND phone number onto the ESET activation site just for a license to work?
