I installed NOD32 a couple minutes ago and rebooted. After I rebooted and logged in the whole system freezes as soon as the splash screen for NOD32 pops up. This is extremely frustrating and my safe mode won't work because I am using LogonXP.

Does anyone know how to uninstall something from the Task Manager? Or how to delete files before Windows starts?

I need help urgently and any would be appreciated.

    Hello A1SteakSauce,

If you are unable to get into safe mode, you will have to use the recovery console (Win.XP CD) to manually kill C:\Program Files\Eset.

    Recovery console help:
How to install and use the Recovery Console in Windows XP
Description of the Windows XP Recovery Console

Also, please send an ESET SysInspector log to our Customer Support and ask that I am notified. Do this by opening a case here and when you receive an email reply, please attach your sysinspector log when you reply back. We will take a look at this for you.

    Thank you,
    Rmuffler
