    Hi all.
I'm using NOD32 for Lotus Domino.
As expected, NOD32 is able to recognize that an email has one or more infected attachments and to delete it.
Is there a way to delete the whole email? It would be very useful!

    Thanks in advance.
    Pietro.

Hi WebMad and welcome to wilders,

After Nod32 deletes the infected attachment/file, you should be able to just delete the message from your E-mail client as it will be clean.

Thanks a lot for your answer, Sweetie.

The problem is, that mail users are receiving at least 10 infected emails per day, as my organization has a lot of contacts with the world and email worms are so spread.
I think that it would be very simple for NOD32 plugin to automatically delete a Domino document, once it detects an infected attachment.
For example, amavis with sendmail work like this.
Also, do you know if a SDK for NOD32 is available?

    Thanks,
    Pietro.

As NOD can be configured to amend the subject of an infected email (by default I think to "Virus: <VIRUSNAME>") it should be possible to set up a rule in your email client to either delete, reject or forward to a particular mailbox, any email whose subject starts "Virus".

That is what I do, and all such emails are sent to a separate mailbox.
