    Hello,

ESET NOD32 Antivirus for Linux Desktops is currently in public beta and can be downloaded from the beta test portal at http://beta.eset.com/linux.

If you are interested in protecting a Linux-based server, here are links to the appropriate products:
    ESET File Security (file servers)
ESET Gateway Server Security (gateway devices)
    ESET Mail Security (mail servers)
All programs are x86 (i386) and x64 (amd64) compatible. The server versions also support BSD and Solaris.

    Regards,

    Aryeh Goretsky

I know as a beta it comes with no support. But I'd like to know how I can install this on Ubuntu. If I rename the .linux file name extension to a .deb can I use package manager to install it? I'm a newb with Linux and don't know how to install from a terminal screen.

    Hi,

simply download the .linux installation package.

Once downloaded right click on that file and set permission to EXECUTE that file. Then simply double click it and the installation window will show up.
