I ran a Nero General Cleaning tool last on my PC and it took out all the files on my F:\ I may have accidentally pointed it to the drive and not the Nero folder itself.

Anyway, since then my NOD32 fails to start on booting the PC and it is missing from the Startup Tab in msconfig. Does anybody know how to get it back to running on boot and back into msconfig too?

    WinXp SP2
    NO32 v2.51.28

Quickest and least technical (most likely to be effective as well) is probably to uninstall and reinstall NOD32

    Hi subyroo, welcome to Wilders.

Could you please try the following:

Download a fresh copy of NOD32 to your desktop.

Uninstall your current version and reboot

Remove the Eset folder from C Drive> Program Files

Install the fresh copy of NOD32 that you downloaded above using "Typical" settings when asked.

Let us know how you go...

    Cheers :D

I uninstalled and re-installed NOD 3 x times before I got everything right again, but we are back on track again........so far so good :)

Thanks for your help fellas, I now have Blackspears extra settings for NOD32 burnt into my brain o_O

The only setting that tricks me up is the Boot Sector setting in NOD32 Setup otherwise it is all pretty plain sailing. :thumb:
