The detection of any one particular threat is not really the way any anti-virus, including NOD32, should be judged. It's the record of detection over the long term in the real world and under real infection conditions that is important.

Threads like this that show a screen shot of a specific detection made by one or more anti-virus products, and show others missing the sample are not of any real value. Files can be found that any AV will get a hit on and others will miss. We could post threads like this, (with or without Jotti or VirusTotal results included), all day and still be none the wiser for it.

Whether NOD32 detects a sample that others miss, or misses a sample that others detect, threads like this are not support or product usage issues, and as such will no longer be allowed here on Wilders. This applies to both the NOD32 section and other anti-virus software.

This quote says it pretty well, also...
