How to use NOD32 with the Backup Exec Open File Option ?

"Unknown OFO error: 0xe0001002" is returned when backing up with Open File Option enabled and the backup is aborded.

 

Memory resident antivirus programs are very aggressive and defensive by nature, and will often ignore another program's "let me do whatever I want to do" instructions.

My recommendation is to first perform a full manual scan with the NOD32 on-demand scanner, switch off AMON by clicking on the "thumping gizzard", then make your backup. (Don't forget to switch AMON back on when you're finished.)
