    Ok, too bad.

    How about the second question...

If a virus is found in a file, try to clean (/clean) the file. If that doesn't work, try to rename (/rename) the file and then delete (/delete) the file as a last resort.

Is it possible? (1. Clean. 2. Rename. 4. Delete)

Maybe you have answered it already by not saying it's impossible, but I thought I'd check with you just in case.

Thanks for the help by the way!

As far as I know it is coming, as they say, Rome wasn’t built in a day ;) :D

As far as I know this is what will occur given the use of those switches, as the last option it does is to delete.

    Hope this helps…

    Cheers :D

Does anyone know the switch to have nod32 scan "self-extracting archive" "email files" "alternative ntfs streams" and "adware/spyware/riskware"?

    Hello earthsfate,

    For self-extracting archives use: /sfx+
For alternative NTFS streams use: /ntfs+
You can't run a command to specifically scan individual email files, but you can for mailboxes. Use: /mailbox+
    For adware/spyware/riskware use: /adware

    Bandicoot. :)

Actually, I do not see /ntfs+ in that list.

I'm bumping this thread because it's the only one I found that has something to do with a question I have about NOD32's way of handling (potential) infections during a local scan.
Is it at all posible to set NOD32 to do a scheduled in-depth analysis in "clean" mode, BUT (here comes the most important request) to have it ask what to do about (suspected) infections AFTER the scan is done, instead of pausing the scan for each and every infection found? My goal is to set up a periodical unattended scan (i.e. weekly in-depth analysis) and to deal with whatever NOD32 has found at the end of it.
The only workaround I found so far is to do the analysis in "Scan only" mode and then go back to the scan log to see what NOD32 found. I'm asking for something more direct that can't be easily overlooked. Like a dialog box with a list of (potential) infections found and a drop down menu with actions for each item in the list.
Sorry if this has already been asked and/or answered but I did some searching in the forum and couldn't find anything like it.

    Any help appreciated,

    2ndS
