Well, I'm not 100% sure if NOD32 is scanning for emails, there's no dialog box or anything popping up when I click receive mail. I am using Thunderbird, and NOD32 is apparently scanning on port 110 for POP3. I have also checked off Thunderbird (green checkmark) in the Email Clients screen.

I get a lot of "spam" saying I've won this and that, and some sexual emails as well from my hotmail account. I hate it, and I wish NOD32 was doing something, or at least I knew it was trying.

I am using Windows XP Pro, with Thunderbird 2.0 and NOD32 antivirus.

NOD32 antivirus by itself does not have a spam monitor. If you upgraded to Eset Smart Security, you would have spam protection.

NOD32 AV scans incoming email via pop3 for malware only.
