NOD32 and MS Office

    I'm confused. I saw some posts saying NOD32 wouldn't offer Office support until their next release, something to do w/ DMON, but then I saw a different post that said they do support Office scans, but DMON just adds more protection. o_O

    AMON scans Office files by default,but if you turn it off by any reason,DMON still checks the Office files for malware.

    dear msanto, i won't say more protection just the task is being divided among these modules.

    And that's in the next release, which is still beta, right? I never install beta software so I've been waiting patiently :D

    Eh i install beta on regular basis :) Current NOD32 beta works very well. Except some minor issues with IMON HTTP Scanner.

    Some people prefer for others to be the "Crash Test Dummies" ;)
