NOD32 and MS Office

I'm confused. I saw some posts saying NOD32 wouldn't offer Office support until their next release, something to do w/ DMON, but then I saw a different post that said they do support Office scans, but DMON just adds more protection.

 

AMON scans Office files by default,but if you turn it off by any reason,DMON still checks the Office files for malware.

 

dear msanto, i won't say more protection just the task is being divided among these modules.

 

And that's in the next release, which is still beta, right? I never install beta software so I've been waiting patiently

Eh i install beta on regular basis Current NOD32 beta works very well. Except some minor issues with IMON HTTP Scanner.

 

Some people prefer for others to be the "Crash Test Dummies"
