After installing NOD32 for Exchange 2.7 on SBS2003 with SP2 and Exchange SP2, the Exchange Information Store service (MSExchangeIS) crashes repeatedly (it is set to automatically restart on failure). I have configured the exceptions as per MS KB articles: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/823166 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/822158 The errors in the System log are: Event Type: Error Event Source: Service Control Manager Event Category: None Event ID: 7031 Date: 18/11/2009 Time: 7:46:05 AM User: N/A Computer: SERVER-01 Description: The Microsoft Exchange Information Store service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 10 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 60000 milliseconds: Restart the service. The errors in the Application log are: Event Type: Warning Event Source: MSExchangeIS Event Category: General Event ID: 9672 Date: 18/11/2009 Time: 7:46:05 AM User: N/A Computer: SERVER-01 Description: A stack exception was thrown in module C:\WINDOWS\system32\ntdll.dll; some parameters and their values were <Exception address - 7c83156f>. A significant section of the call stack is in the data section. For more information, click http://www.microsoft.com/contentredirect.asp. Data: <Data section removed to save space> No other antivirus is installed. I have had to disable AMON and XMON to ensure the Exchange Information Store service continues to run. All assistance appreciated.
