No not the Omega's. One of them was the Xtreme G's and the others were manufacturer specific drivers (Asus)

Roger that. I still use the Official ATI Catalyst's. I just hope I don't have this issue when 2.5 goes final.

I'm using the Catalyst 5.4 drivers (on an X800 XT PE) and don't have any problems with the NOD32 beta GUI. o_O

Sorry to hark back to this so late in the thread - but I am new to this issue of component upgrades with NOD32.

Does this comment from Ronjor mean that I can kiss goodbye my rosy dream of just accepting the component upgrade when offered? Is it advisable to uninstall the old version and just download the new 2.5 and do a clean install or is that something that only some would prefer to do because they do custom installations?

I would like to be sure that I do the right thing with this because I would hate to ruin a good thing - "I don't want to mess with success" - and there may be others like me who would like a bit of direction here.

Just let it do it's install over the top of your current version, you shouldn't have an issue.

    Cheers :D

Thankyou! Thankyou! I don't mind uninstalling and reinstalling programs. I was just surprised that it might be necessary as I thought it wouldn't be offered as an upgraded component if it wasn't compatible with the previous release version. Glad to hear your opinion.

    Hi Marcos,

What about the admin version and the config editor? Are they going to be updated as well? Any changes to the RA server?

At what time will NOD 2.5 be released, midnight Aussie, GMT or US time? If it's midnight Aussie time, does that mean we only have to wait till 12pm on 05/05/05 to get ours :D

There are no guarantees that it will be released on that date, it is a date that has been put forward, if it's on that date, that's fine, if they need more time, that's fine too ;) :D

    Cheers :D

Don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to the final release too, but what is the rush? I have a perfectly good beta running extremely well here...
    :)

When it's out it's out, chill guys.

Thanks to my flatmate I now have a fully registered version of NOD32 (a gift to me for allowing use of my PC). It wasn't downloaded from the site I suggested but "gift horses" etc. I now see that v2.5 is about to be released tomorrow. As a new customer, is the new version available for me to download or will there be an extra cost involved.

There will be a new Trial version of 2.5.9 available at some point with the standard 30 day free testing period.

    Hope this helps...

    Cheers :D

It would be very nice if you could change your signature into smaller fontsize and if possible not the whole signature text in red  Actually i was thinking that your signature IS YOUR POST.

    Thanks for understanding.

I hope so too. If other manufacturers can work around this "problem", I'm sure Eset can. It would be nice if they could make a last pre-release with a possible fix for this issue to see if they can solve it before it goes final.
