I am not sure if this is the place...but
I have no fix for the rendering..sorry...so I will just post my comments of .00002 cents.
It is directed at those who didn't "beta" test and who are still using 2.12.3....you can upgrade, without waiting for the component update.
I d/l the new 2.5 and installed it, on top of my existing 2.12.3...followed Blackspear's instructions and it does work (as did 2.12.3).
Thanks to all those who tested.
    Cheers :)

"Burning the midnight oil" means "to stay awake very late" or "to stay awake all night". The phrase is often used when working long hours, (like "The fine people at Eset burned the midnight oil to finish NOD32 2.5"), but in this case, I think Marcos has something else in mind.

You hit the nail right on the head - it's almost midnight here and I'm still awake, watching the forum and emails to make sure everything goes well :)

Marcus, a good Aussie thing: Midnight Oil - beds are burning. Let's hope that that's not the case tonight :)

Well done ESET, this release is amazing.

I have one question though; I've just installed it over 2.12.3 final.
If I do an on-demand scan now, there is an error scanning the operating memory.

    It reads:

Also, occured is spelt 2 different ways in the same sentence.
I am not critisizing this amaizng release, but just making you aware.

Is the director's cut version of the release notes going to be made available at some point? Only the expurgated version is on ESET at the moment.

Just wondering: If beta version was 2.50.9 and new release is 2.50.16, which is actually 'newer'? If you go by fraction values, .9 is higher than .16--or is it just 9 versus 16? Thanx.

    Thanks Eset! :D :D

No problems so far with it. Seems very nice and I love the fact that it is also looking out for potential Spyware. ;)

It's running as smooth as butter so far. Keep up the good work!

    Best Regards,

    Jag

Am I right in thinking that foreign-language versions of 2.5 will be released within the next couple of hours (or days??). Some info for NOD32 users from non-English speaking countries would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance. :)

    Cheers :D
