Continuing its tradition of unmatched detection, performance, ESET has released final version of NOD32 2.5

This latest version of the widely acclaimed NOD32 antivirus system enhances support for a variety of malicious threats including browser-delivered malware, spyware, adware, riskware, and potentially dangerous applications. Version 2.5 also introduces the ThreatSense.Net Early Warning System, which provides customers with timely alerts to new threats, and also allows for the streamlined submission of new malware or suspicious code to ESET's Threat Lab for analysis.

NOD32 2.5 can be downloaded from Eset's download page http://www.eset.com/download/download.htm.

Those who have been using beta will be updated to the final version automatically soon. A standard automatic program component update will take place a bit later.

So all that they use the beta version must wait the standard automatic program component update? or we can download the exe file and install it without uninstalling the beta version?

I'd like to know if the trial versions will be updated as well and if I'll be able to try 2.5 out for an extra 30 days before i buy it even though i've had the beta 2.5 installed.

    Thanks,
    Marc.

    Hi,

I was waiting for polish 2.5 beta all the time and final 2.5 is already published... could anyone write when polish version will be released?

Polish website contains news dated 2005-04-01 that they are already finishing translating and will publish polish beta soon...

    Just kidding.
I thought Marcos had to work and you don't.
I know both of you give us 1000% of your time, even weekends.
I suspected something about new version was cooking, since I haven't see you around here since yesterday.

    Anyway,

    Thanks a lot for everything.

    Best Regards,

    DonKid.
