It seems that with the new update (1.1095) this problem was fixed... ;)

I'm just checking it. If a newer version of Spysweeper has been released it's very likely NOD32 reports it as suspicious because of its behaviour. We'll fix it asap.

Just installed the latest trial version of SpySweeper and NOD32 did not pick up anything.

Well, I'm reluctant to buy the software just because of this. Please send the file in question to support@eset.com so that we can fix the fp.

I just tried to install Spy Sweeper 4.0 File Version 4.0.1.323 and I keep getting a error message about WRSSD.exe. I shut down Nod32 and still get the error message.

I had this problem as well, but once I disabled AMON by taking the check out of the box under the status window, it went just fine. If you just quit the NOD32 console, the kernel service will still lock the file (I believe.)

And I thought that Spy Sweeper was the problem... I installed the program in safe mode and that worked. Good to hear that NOD32 was the real 'culprit' ;)

Webroot seems to be always quite late with updating their website, while registered people get the new version already.
