Really. I think it's a bad movement. But who can say "I'll never drink such water...".

Seems free to me, but just added to a PC two days ago so can't say for sure until another 28 days go by. But why would AVG be the only member of AAA (Avast/Avira/AVG) to remove free?
    From my AVG 'about/license agreement':

Are you sure? I heard that the latest version of AVG works like Ad-Aware: You will only get a 30days trial for the pro version! :doubt: Who can try and confirm it? Thank you! :doubt:

Last time I checked, it gives you the option to trial their paid product during the install process and some users accidentally installed it (as mentioned in previous posts).

Or they are unprofessional speed clickers. :D

Anyone can find out for themselves by simply installing the free version and waiting 30 (or 31) days. But from what I read in these forums, they'll be trying something else long before a month is up. Not saying I'm so innocent....:D

No, this is just the new policy. Download the free version and you get the full version for 30 days. After 30 days, it reverts to the free version.

I guess AVG are trying to show you the full feature set, which may encourage people to upgrade when they notice a more limited feature-set with the free version, after the initial 30 days.
