I have TI 9.0. I am experiencing a problem when I boot from the boot cd. When I choose "safe" mode I can see and access my hard drive. But when I choose "full" mode I get an error saying TI cannot see any hard drive.

My system is a Dell Inspiron 1501 notebook, my hard drive is a sata model.

Try creating a new TI Rescue CD and do NOT include the Safe Mode option. Some have reported this worked for them.

What build of TI9 are you running? The Linux Rescue CD probably does not have the correct drivers for your hard drive. If you aren't running B3677 or B3854(the latest)update to one of those builds. If that still doesn't work try building a BartPE CD Begginer's Guide to Creating a BartPE CD written by Mustang. Use one of his plugins Mustang's BartPE Plugins that matches your build of TI 9.

    Hello trevaaaaaaa,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please make sure you use the latest build (3854) of Acronis True Image 9.0 Home. To get access to updates you should first register your software. Don't forget to recreate Acronis Bootable Rescue Media after updating.

Please also try booting with "acpi=off noapic" parameter as it is described in Acronis Help Post.

If the issue persists, please collect some information to let us investigate it thoroughly:

Please create Acronis Report and Linux system information (sysinfo.txt) as it is described in Acronis Help Post.

Then submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with a solution.

    Thank you.

    Thanks all for the replies

I upgraded to TI 10 and I don't have the problem now.
