Would resizing (shrinking) the available hd to open up space for the new one solve the problem?

    Hello YONGU,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Partition and Disk Managing Software.

Please clarify whether you have tried to perform the described operation within Windows or while booting from Acronis Bootable Rescue Media.
If you have tried it from Windows then we can suggest you to try to boot from Acronis Disk Director Suite 10.0 Bootable Rescue Media.

In order to resolve the issue in Windows please download the latest version of Acronis drivers, install it with disabled logging and see if the problem still persists.

If the problem still persists then enable logging by running the Acronis drivers installation package once again, reproduce the problem and collect the c:\snapapi.log file. Please also make a screen shots of your step-by-step actions which you took while performing this operation.

Please create Acronis Report and Windows System Information as it is described in Acronis Help Post and submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with the solution.

    Thank you.

    Hi,
Does that mean DD 10 build 2089 may not have the current drivers? Thanks. OY.

    Hello YONGU,

Please be aware that Acronis Drivers are updated more often than other Acronis products. That means that if you have the latest update of the product then Acronis Drivers which were included into this product can be not the latest ones. So we recommend you to download the above-mentioned update and test the functionality of Acronis Disk Director Suite 10.0 with those drivers.

    Thank you.
