    Hallo.

I just built a new PC on an Asus P5B Deluxe board running Windows XP.
When I try to boot with the Disl Director 10 original or Rescue disk, no drive is recognized by Acronis DD. When running under Windows everything is fine.
Drive runs in SATA native mode using the driver "iastore.sys" for the Intel
    - Intel(R) 82801HR/HH/HO SATA RAID Storage controller and - Intel(R) 82801HR/HH/HO I/O Controller Hub (ICH8R).
Had to be installed by "F6" method duiring OS installation.

Does anybody know a solution how to get a bootable Acronis DD rescue CD recognizing SATA disks connected to the ICH8R on this board ?

    Thanks.

Have you tried the "safe" mode of Disk Director? It works on my ASUS P5B Deluxe/WiFi board (with both my RAID drives and non-RAID drive). If you don't have this option on your rescue cd, then make another one and put both the "full" and "safe" versions on it. Safe mode uses the BIOS to access the drives and not the linux drivers.

Otherwise, you could make a BartPE boot cd with the RAID drivers on it.
