NIS2005/WhenU

Having followed with great interest the sorry saga of Lavasoft AdAware on this and various other forums, I am wondering if NIS2005 can detect WhenU.

Now, I know that BOClean and a² will stop it in its tracks. According to this SARC page:-

WhenU is on the Norton database and accordingly should detect it.

The only place I know where to look is ProgramFiles\Common Files\Symantec Shared\VirusDefs\Whatsnew.txt and I can't find it in there!

Can anybody tell me:-

a) definitively that NIS2005 will/will not detect WhenU

b) is WhenU still in Nortons database

c) in NIS2005, where is the database (currently 69,403 defs) kept?

 

Not to worry, got most of my queries sorted now.
Having said that, if anyone has actually had experience of NIS2005 detecting it, but I doubt it. I think most of us have other apps that would get in first, eg a² and BOClean.
