NIS 2013 Bombs Again

    Came across this one at Malwaretips web site: [noparse]http://malwaretips.com/Thread-Norton-Internet-Security-2013[/noparse]

    Not AV lab quality of course but enlighting none the less. Of the malware pack this testor used, 600+ samples, NIS caught just over 50% of them. Yikes!

    This test was done using NIS out-of-the-box default settings.

    I am like the testor's pop in this article, I just hate to part with old trusty NIS but the evidence is getting overwhelmingly to do so.:doubt:

    And what that test supposed to be ? Look at the report, the tester says he does not like the product, does not recommend it ... Is this a conclusion ? Let me :argh:
