Hello friends, can I run NIS 2012 and Microsoft Security Essentials together for better protection? or MSE is not essential if I keep NIS 2012?

You shouldn't be running both together. Either use one or the other. Probably best you keep NIS 2012 has it alot more features and MSE is more basic protection.

It would give you less protection, not more.

Yep keep NIS and highly recommend not to run two resident scanners together. It will not hurt to add an On Demand scanner for second opinions.Hitman Pro would make a nice back up scanner.

you will get less protection with 2 antiviruses.
NIS is so much better than MSE, in every way. can't imagine why you would think of changing NIS.
