NIS 2009 + outpost firewall

    hello all...:))

    i am using kis 6,7,8 + outpost firewall 4,2008,2009 for more than 3 years without any trouble at all .........i didn't install kis firewall

    now i wonder if any one tried new norton internet security 2009 with outpost firewall pro 2009 is the combo work without trouble after disabling NIS 2009 firewall.......or is their any feature in NIS of custom installation like KIS for not installing firewall .......

    Yeah it will work but Norton has very good firewall
    make sure that smart firewall and Intrusions preventions are turned off

    Norton's firewall is decent, if not a little too simple in default settings.

    It's Intrusion Prevention feature is especially robust, I do not suggest disabling it. I suggest that you stick with NIS and if you want control turn of automatic event control; NIS will prompt you for permission.

    Why do you want to use NIS 2009? Im currently using NAV 2009 along with Outpost Pro 2009 and they work brilliantly together.
