    Hi,

    I really need looknstop 2.05 because I need a firewall beeing able to have rules per application and port, such as : allowing for example only ports 110 and 25 for my email client. 2.04 does not allow this.

    Anyone has an idea when 2.05 is supposed to be released ?

    I'm on that list of waiting people :cool:

    I currently run Kerio 2.1.5 as it has this feature, and its a basically just a application based rule filtering firewall with no extra fluff. However the packet filter is more advanced in LnS.

    I thought I read beta maybe by the end of this year, but I won't presume its accurate.

    Why not restrict port 110 & 25 to your email servers only ?
    I use Becky and use of these ports is restricted to only those ip's i accepted by rules.
