Newby needs help.

I tried to download the User's Guide and got file corrupted message. How do I extract 1 file from an image and restore it to my working system?

Unfortunately, not every one is awake in all timezones to answer your question.
Anyway, firstly if you want the user guide try download again - it should work but maybe you've got a bad dialup line
Secondly, about the ability to restore a single file - go into the windows version of TI (not bootable CD Linux version) and select the option to explore an image. This will create a virtual drive which gives you read access to all files in the TI image .tib file - just do normal file copy do get any file you want.
