New virus/malware threat?

    Not sure what you want us to say, ESET detects it if that's what you're asking. Like I've said in a previous post, their claim that no AV's detected it was pretty rubbish, it was detected by ESET and a few other heuristically way before signature was added.

    ok well that answers that.. but when I weent to eset's threat center I could not find it listed in the virus library....

    It has the great name of Win32/Agent.NVU :rolleyes: Then again a lot of AV's just detect it as agent.

    Before the signature it was heuristically detected as a variant of Agent.

    It has a pattern that is recognized by the Heuristics engine in NOD32..
