for those who aren't getting responses...I know these guys must be busy...the about:blank can be fixed with the fixdll.exe file found in one of the forums...I ran it on number 2 and let it delete what it found...seems to have worked...thanks for whoever posted the exe file!

Did you run AdAware, CWShredder and Windows Update afterwards?
