What do you think about using this thread to announce new year releases/new betas or new supposed dates of release?

    1) Panda Security AV and ISS 2008 is out.

    Best regards.
    Mike

I just got the e-mail from Trend Micro informing me the TMIS 2008 beta is available. I downloaded it, but haven't installed it yet. I'm not too sure I want to give it a try. There usually isn't too much change from one TMIS to another except for the GUI. I haven't heard much about this one yet.

It is very buggy. After twice attempt I couldn't see the main GUI:D .So installing to a test system is better choice.

Trend is not buggy at all over here. It is really making my PC slow at the moment. But it is only the first beta. It works good though

Not such problems here, I would recommend you installing it on a fresh system.

I can't share your problems you have with the updater. What's the date of your installation package? The 1237_S3 dated 1 august is running quite smooth actually.

It is like it indeed. For me it works far more smooth. I can't say anything about the detection rate at this point though
